80's

Last week was a hard week, a lot of exams! So i cut my nails because they were getting too long for me to be comfortable with them, so now I have short nails for a few weeks. Today we had to do something inspired by the 80's in the Esmatofílicas Challenge, and I grew up in the 90's, so I was not really sure about what to do, but Google saved me again! I saw this leopard patters in a few of the images search, so I decided to replicate it, I hope it is from the 80's... I used China Glaze For Audrey as my base color, then I used a dotting tool and Essence I Want That! and China Glaze Liquid Leather to do the cheetah print. They are not what I would normally wear, but they are really fun!

La semana pasada fue complicada, tuve un motón de exámenes, así que decidí dejarme las uñas cortitas porque ya las tenía demasiado largas para mi gusto, así que las vais a ver así durante unas semanas. Hoy, en el Reto Esmatofílicas tocaban los años 80. Yo crecí en los 90, por lo que estaba un pelín perdida, pero como siempre Google me salvó. Al poner 80's en la barra de búsqueda de imágenes, este estampado apreció varias veces y lo copié. Para hacerlo utilicé China Glaze For Audrey como mi color para la base, y luego añadí el resto utilizando Essence I Want That! y China Glaze Liquid Leather. Espero que esté relacionado con los 80 y que os guste. No es un tipo de manicura que normalmente lleve, pero era bastante divertida.

Esmatofílicas - Chevron nails

Today is the second day of the Esmatofílicas challenge, and we had to do chevron nails, that I love! I decided to use a combination that I love: pink, silver and black. I used Wet n Wild Heatwave as my base color and then I used tape, Barry M Silver Foil and China Glaze Liquid Leather to do the the little triangles. Hoy es segundo día del reto Esmatofílicas, y el tema era chevron. Me encanta como quedan este tipo de uñas, así que estaba muy contenta mientras las hacía. Escogí una combinación de colores que ya había usado antes: rosa, plata y negro. Utilicé Wet n Wild Heatwave como mi base y luego utilicé celo, Barry M Silver Foil y China Glaze Liquid Leather para hacer los pequeños triángulos. ¡Que no se os olvide visitar los blogs del resto de chicas participando en el reto!

Leopard glitter!

Long time no see! College keeps me very busy, but I got to do my nails a few times, not as much as I would like... Anyway, I did this mani a few weeks ago. It is inspired by Chalkboard Nails! I wish I had the China Glaze On Safari collection to re-create the same mani, and I know there was a big sale in Sally's this weekend when you could get it very cheap, but I have to be good and not buy nail polish, I already bought a lot during the summer! I am so proud of myself! 

Now to the mani! I used three coats of Butter London West End Wonderland, a gold and copper glitter. Then I added the leopard print using a dotting tool (well, a bobby pin) and Kiko 371 and China Glaze Liquid Leather. I am not a huge fan of animal print, but I loved how it looked and how original it was!

Day 19 - Galaxies

My galaxy mani was a fail, I will have to find a new tecnhique or another colors. I used a lot of different polishes: China Glaze Liquid Leather, Hits Zeus, China Glaze Champagne Bubles, Impala Espelho, Kiko 336, China Glaze White on White and a white nail art pen. I first applied one coat of China Glaze Liquid Leather, another one of Hits Zeus, and then I sponged the rest of the colors and I added a few dots with the nail art pen.
