GLITTER!

A few of you asked me how to do your own nail polish, and I am planning on doing a post about it as soon as I am back next week. For now, I am going to show you one my creations. For the base I used Sally Hansen Black Out, then I sponged my polish and finally I added a coat of Essie Matte About You. I decided to name my nail polishes after cities, so this was so colorful that needed to be called Las Vegas. What do you think?

Hace unos días muchas me preguntasteis como se hacen tus propios esmaltes, y en cuanto vuelva la semana que viene voy a hacer una entrada explicándolo. Por ahora os voy a enseñar otra de mis creaciones. Primero añadí dos capas de Sally Hansen Black Out, luego con una esponja añadí mi esmalte, y por último añadí una capa de Essie Matte About You. He decidido que los nombres de mis esmaltes van a ser ciudades, y este esmalte es tan colorido que tenía que llamarlo Las Vegas. ¿Qué os parece?

Purple squares

Hi! Do you like Julep? I just have three that I got for 1 cent, but I really like them. This is Julep Morgan, a metallic purple that I really like. I decided to stamp it with Barry M Lilac Foil and one of the Bundle Monster plates. The stamping wasn't as neat as usual, but I think it's OK!

¿Conocéis la marca Julep? Yo solo tengo tres que conseguí por un céntimo, pero la verdad que me gustan bastante. Este esmalte es Julep Morgan, un morado metálico. Lo estampé con Barry M Lilac Foil y una placa de Bundle Monster.

OPI Wooden Shoe Like To Know?

Today I have a quick swatch for you. This is OPI Wooden Shoe Like To Know? A beautiful brown  with a gold shimmer. I didn't think I was going to like it alone, but I wore it for a few days. Do you like this type of colours?

Hoy tengo una entrada rápida. Os quiero enseñar OPI Wooden Shoe Like To Know? Un bonito esmalte marrón con partícular doradas. No pensé que me iba a gustar llevarlo solo, pero acabé dejándolo unos días. ¿Qué os parecen estos colores oscuros?

Guest post from Polish. Glitter. Rock & Roll

Hey Everyone!  It's Danielle here from Polish. Glitter. Rock & Roll!  I am so excited to be doing a guest post for Belen.  I hope I can do her lovely little blog justice.  Here we go!

I prepared an awesome gradient with some of my favorite polishes.  The yellow is China Glaze Lighthouse, orange is Zoya OC Cooler, and the pink is Zoya Soho Punch.  Soho Punch is actually not that light pink, but when you sponge it on, this is what happens.  All three of these are full of gorgeous glass flecks.  The application was a bit of a pain, but the payoff was totally worth it.  Look at how reflective!  Oooohhh!

I thought it would be fun to add some stamping to this gradient.  It looked bright and "fiery" to me so I chose a stamp that looked like feathers because I was really leaning towards a phoenix as my inspiration.  The design is from the Bundle Monster stamping plate bm-210 and I just used a basic black creme polish.  I also wanted the black to really pop so I used a matte top coat to tone down the reflective gradient.

This is what it looks like with a top coat.  So what do you think?  Will you be recreating this mani? Black matte and stamp

Hi guys! I am going to be away for a week, but I have a few blog post prepared for you, and on Monday you will see an amazing blog by another blogger! Today I want to show you this matte mani I did before exams to cheer me up. I think it is super classy and elegant. For the base I used Sally Hansen Black Out, one coat of Essie Matte About You. Finally, I stamped it with one of the PUEEN plates and Barry M Silver Foil.

¡Hola! Voy a estar fuera unos días, así que no voy a poder responder a vuestros mensajes, pero os voy a dejar unas cuantas entradas preparadas.
